About the YWCA

For more than 135 years, the YWCA Central Massachusetts has served as a life-long positive force for women and girls, their families and communities. By leveraging the reach, power and passion of our members and supporters, we have created lasting change.

More important than the numbers is our mission to eliminate racism and empower women. We provide safe places for women and girls, build strong women leaders, and advocate for both women’s and civil rights.

Empower HER

Meet Amber, a resilient woman who has journeyed through the ups and downs of life’s challenges and joined our Transitional Housing Program in 2019. Today with her newfound sense of stability and a bright outlook for the future, Amber is ready to embark on the next phase of her journey with confidence and optimism.

The YWCACM is at the forefront of driving positive change. With your generous support, you are helping to save lives and empower individuals to rebuild with strength and resilience. HER future is in your hands.

The YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women and girls, and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
