One-on-One Employment Coaching
In the job search process, being well-prepared is your key to success. Our Career Coaches will help you every step of the way with:

Career Planning
Understanding interests, abilities and values is crucial in determining career direction. The Career Assistance Center offers several assessments to help you explore careers that are right for you as well as information on job descriptions and duties, salaries and wages, essential skill requirements, and training/educational requirements.

COPSystem: Individuals interested in new careers can arrange to take the COPSystem, which provides in-depth information about work values, interest & abilities, and identifying their unique career patterns. Career Coaches assess the results and work with you to explore your best career options with additional follow-up and coaching.

Workshops
In these difficult economic times many employers have had to make difficult decisions in reducing its workforce. Fortunately, the YWCA can help employers prepare employees in finding a job in this new-age with workshops on a variety of topics.

All workshops can be tailored to the specific interests and needs of a business or organization.

Resume Writing
A well-written résumé is a must have in today’s job market. Our certified résumé writers can help job seekers develop a résumé and cover letter that will secure an interview from among the dozens or hundreds of applicants for any given position.

The YWCA’s Career Assistance services are available to the public. Workshops and trainings are provided at a service fee.
