From Crisis to Stability to Self-Sufficiency

Home should be a place of safety and refuge. For those caught in a violent home, it is a place of fear. The YWCA’s Domestic Violence programs seek to help victims escape the pattern of intimate partner violence and rebuild their lives on a secure and stable foundation.

Education, prevention and intervention services are available throughout central Massachusetts. These services include:

  • 24-hour hotline
  • emergency shelter
  • group & individual counseling
  • court advocacy
  • information & referral

YWCA Domestic Violence programs also work with area businesses, groups and organizations to provide intervention, community education and professional training programs that raise awareness about intimate partner violence and reduce its impact.
